Hospital placement

It's like finally!!  After months of numerous effort, I'd started my hospital placement yesterday.

Unlike others,  I have no one that I know who are working in hospital, it is really a daunting challenge to apply for a hospital attachment all by myself. It took me a lot of courage and determination . I started from checking information of different doctors on a website of a private hospital nearby. Then I composed various emails to the HR to request for a placement. Weeks passed, none of it was attended. I felt a little disappointed. I then decided to visit the hospital and walk in each consulting room to seek for a face-to-face talk with the doctors. "Doctor is busy", " He is not here, come again tomorrow", I could only visit the hospital after my school hours, and by that time most of the doctors were not in their room. When I finally got to talk with a doctor, he rejected me :/.

Disappointment overwhelmed. To be honest, I did decide to give up. I went to the washroom and calm myself and think about all the effort I had made. I walked to the consultation room of Dr Alexander which I'd visited three times and not once the doctor was inside. But this time, he was there! I seized the chance to talk with him and eventually got my attachment approved , though I could sense a slight impatience with him, haha!
